| Our Journey Formed in 1994, East Mountain is an acoustic band that sings original & old-time bluegrass & gospel music. Based in North East Texas, we began our ministry at The Hiway 80 Rescue Mission in Longview, Tx and now 27 years later, we continue to play there once a month. East Mountain provides music at churches, retirements centers, festivals, local music shows, charitable organizations and is open to invitations to share the good news of Jesus Christ through bluegrass music, an old time music form played with acoustic instruments.
